Mr. Namgung attended the commissioning ceremony of a solar mini-grid ODA project held in Rubochi, Federal Capital Territory (FCT). He emphasized that “electricity is the backbone of the economy and the backbone of our daily lives,” expressing hope that the project will strengthen the reliability and sustainability of Nigeria’s power supply. The event was attended by Mahmud Mamman, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Abba Aliyu, Managing Director of the Rural Electrification Agency, along with other federal government officials, community leaders, and local residents.
